We are blessed with the most beautiful location for unwinding and connecting with nature. Our farm is located on the side of a mountain with rolling views over the Stanford Valley and only 20 mins drive from the Sea. Here you will find an abundance of space, a myriad of life and the silence to quieten even the busiest of minds. Go for nature walks, birdwatching and even whale watching - or simply kick back with some locally grown wine and enjoy the plethora of stars.
Our cottages are restored labourer's cottages which we have renovated to create a space for you to be completely as you are. They are set amongst beautiful old pine trees where fallow deer come in the mornings to hang out with the horses and take their fill of the lush grass surrounding our rainwater dam. The silence and tranquility is abundant and our best efforts have been made to provide you with a place to unwind and forget about the hum-drum of daily life.
The Villa was until recently our private home and it has been renovated and decorated to retain that feeling. It is set high in the mountains where the fynbos is ancient and the sunbirds rule. Here you can completely forget that there are other people around, while remaining a mere 7 minutes drive from town.
Our cottages and The Villa all come with linen, towels and cookware. There is private parking and braai facilities, and some firewood is provided. Your pets are very welcome too!

The Villa
The Villa is an exquisite and unique house built on a dam in the mountains. Here you are completely immersed in nature and the view is incomparable, whether you enjoy it sitting on the veranda overlooking the dam or in the spacious lounge with huge windows. The private dam is wonderful for swimming in and the shaded veranda is perfect for an afternoon braai.
The Villa sleeps 8-10 people, with four bedrooms as well as a secondary lounge with daybeds that can be converted into beds. ‘Fire’ is the master bedroom and has an en-suite bathroom with a shower as well as a large bath tub. ‘Earth’ has an adjacent bathroom with a shower, and ‘Water’ and ‘Air’ share a bathroom. ‘Water’ also boasts a private veranda, perfectly angled to enjoy the sunset. In the four bedrooms all the beds can be either twins or Kings depending on your preference.
The kitchen is fully equipped with quality cookware, oven, stove and microwave. There is a separate scullery with an extra gas cooker and a secondary fridge. Much care has been taken to furnish the Villa and the feel is much more of a private luxurious house than rental accommodation. Art by local artists adorn the walls and many of the pieces of furniture are family heirlooms.
Wifi is provided free of charge, as well as natural, chemical-free toiletries hand-made locally.

Oak Cottage
Oak is our biggest cottage, which sleeps 6. It has a master bedroom with ensuite bathroom with a shower and bathtub, and two separate bedrooms with shared bathroom. The kitchen is fully equipped and the spacious open plan lounge has a fireplace for those chilly winter evenings. The private veranda is in full length of the house and overlooks the rolling hills and mountains that make the Stanford Valley so special.
